NILESH PATEL, M.D.

Dr. Patel grew up in southeastern Michigan and had returned to the Detroit area after completing his training. He attended Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine and completed his residency at Summa Health System in Akron, OH. Further subspecialty training was undertaken during a Spine Surgery Fellowship at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston.
His focus is on adult spinal disorders, including the treatment of cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine pathology. Dr. Patel has a special interest in minimally invasive techniques and travels across the country training other surgeons on these new technologies. Some of these treatments include Microdiscectomies, Minimally Invasive Fusions, including the cutting edge and highly effective iFuse implant system, M.I.L.D., Kyphoplasty and many more.
He is involved with the latest research and teaches as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopedics at Wayne State University. Additionally, he is the Director of Spine Surgery at Oakwood Healthcare System.
Dr. Patel’s goal is to not only improve your pain and quality of life but to do it in the quickest, least painful way possible. He will strive not only to treat your condition but to also educate you so you can be an informed patient.
RAZMIG HALADJIAN, M.D.

Dr. Razmig Haladjian, a native of Beirut, Lebanon and a graduate of the American University of Beirut School of Medicine, completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Wayne State University School of Medicine. He performed his fellowship in Pain Management at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Dr. Haladjian employs a multi-disciplinary approach in solving patients’ chronic pain issues with a strong emphasis in cutting-edge interventional procedures. Dr. Haladjian has special interest and expertise in treating spinal conditions such as compression fractures, spinal stenosis, and failed back surgery (post-laminectomy syndrome). Through his extensive training and his years of experience as a pain management physician, Dr. Haladjian has mastered techniques ranging from simple spinal interventions such as epidurals and facet blocks to more advanced procedures such as kyphoplasties, spinal cord stimulations, and minimally invasive spine surgeries.
Dr. Haladjian places extreme importance in identifying the pain generator in order to recommend the appropriate treatment. In addressing the pharmacological aspect of pain, Dr. Haladjian utilizes combinations of pain medications as well as adjuvant medications to limit side effects to treat chronic pain conditions. Dr. Haladjian has acquired an extensive amount of experience in treating cancer related pain conditions. Through his use of a vast store of treatment modalities he is able to successfully relieve cancer pain. He is also trained in detoxification from pain medications.
Dr. Haladjian is a member of the International Spine Intervention Society (SIS). He continues to be very active in pursuing new treatments that could be beneficial to his patients. Dr. Haladjian has been a keynote speaker at medical meetings. He has authored and co-authored pain related articles.
Along with his colleagues, Dr. Haladjian strives to offer excellent care through careful symptom assessment and use of advanced treatment options and continues to remain on the forefront of pain medicine breakthroughs.
PATRICIA MOESNER, M.D.
As part of a military family, Dr. Moesner was raised across the country until her family finally settled down in Seattle where she earned a bachelors in Biochemistry from the University of Washington. She worked for the Department of Hematology as a researcher before entering into medical school. After graduating from St. George’s University School of Medicine, Dr. Moesner relocated to Michigan and completed her residency in Anesthesiology and fellowship in Pain Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. With a strong interest in treating chronic pain and helping patients re-establish a pain-free life, Dr. Moesner has made the Michigan Interventional Pain Center her home.
