Soft Cervical Collars

Soft cervical collars are collars that can be worn around the neck to provide patients with increased comfort. These collars do not provide any structural support. If this type of brace does not help you, then it is not necessary to wear it. Soft cervical collars often work best when they are worn at night to help alleviate neck pain. If you have arm pain due to a pinched nerve, then it may help to wear the collar backward with the taller side in front. This helps to open the space for the nerve, relieving your pain.
